As a part of the Office of the General Counsel, the GTRI legal team provides comprehensive legal and compliance support to GTRI, Georgia Tech’s applied research unit. We navigate the intricate legal, ethics, and compliance facets inherent with GTRI's innovative research, impacting national security, economic development, and the overall human condition.

Our team provides legal advice and guidance on various complex legal issues facing GTRI, ensuring GTRI aligns with federal and state laws and the University System of Georgia (USG) and Institute policies and procedures. Promoting a culture of compliance and ethical conduct, our integrated approach also includes conflicts of interest (COI), e-Time, and ABFR compliance monitoring.

Our GTRI team, a blend of innovation and expertise, collaborates closely with the broader Georgia and Georgia Tech communities, to support and expand GTRI’s remarkable trajectory. Through our efforts, we enhance GTRI’s strategic vision of creating a secure nation, prosperous Georgia, and sustainable world.
